Prince of Wales check

A glen check is built from two small checks, four-and-four and two-and-two, woven in blocks. Add a single coloured thread across it every few centimetres and you have the Prince of Wales check. Ours runs in oxblood.

Matching a check across seams takes time. Every pocket, collar and sleeve is cut so the lines run on unbroken, which is one of the things you will see us chalk at the first fitting.
